Summer's on its way

Summer is coming soon. I practice feeling it and remembering it on a daily basis when the weather is cold. Summer is a time of tremendous creative expansion for children as their imaginations are free to soar. Summer is the perfect time for art.

I have expanded my summer camp to a five day option that now includes "crafter-noons." Jewelry and macrame, stamping and printing, cutting and pasting, watercolor and markers. Outdoor activities too. We will walk to the local park and play kickball and outdoor games, and then do karaoke inside when it is raining, or at least once a week. All of that will be in addition to large canvas creation, tie-dye T-shirts, slime, and art kits.
